Avail is a beta service. This page says plainly what it stores and who handles it.

What Avail stores

  • Your email address as you typed it, and a normalized form used to recognize the same Gmail account.
  • Your name, if you sign in with Google.
  • How you signed in (Google or email link), and one session cookie.
  • Your Gemini API key, if you add one. It is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and only its last 4 characters are ever shown.
  • The YouTube links you submit.
  • The reports made from those videos, and the raw Gemini responses they came from. These are derived from public videos.
  • A log of the emails Avail sent you.

Who processes your data

  • Google Gemini. Videos are processed by Google's Gemini API, using either Avail's trial key or your own key. On your own key, usage is on your Google account under Google's terms. On Gemini's free tier, Google may use submitted content to improve its products. See Google's Gemini API terms.
  • Resend delivers Avail's emails (sign-in links and report notices).
  • Cloudflare hosts Avail and stores data (Workers, D1 and R2).

Cookies and tracking

No ads, no selling data, no tracking cookies. Avail sets one session cookie to keep you signed in. Your light or dark theme choice is kept in your browser's local storage.

Google sign-in

Sign in with Google requests only openid, email and profile. Avail has no access to your YouTube account.

Public reports

Reports are private by default. If you make one public, anyone with the link can see it, and search engines may index it unless you turn indexing off. A public report never shows your email, name or other reports.

Deleting your data

In Settings, choose Delete account. Deleting your account removes your key, reports, sessions and account right away. Cached analyses of public videos may be kept: they contain no personal data and are shared across users.
